The story

Founded in New York in 1989 by Will Phillips, REX draws inspiration from one of history's most iconic entrepreneurial circles: The Vagabonds, the group formed in 1914 by Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Harvey Firestone, leaders who met regularly to challenge ideas, expand perspectives, and think together about the future.

As decision-making grows more complex and leadership becomes increasingly lonely, REX brings that same principle into the present: a carefully curated group of peers, outside competition and inside a space for authentic, high-trust dialogue.
